Tell us a little about Popstars Academy?

At Popstars we teach Street, Hip-Hop & Freestyle Dance to
current chart dance music with an array of Dance Props,
including Pom Poms, Glitter Microphones, Dance Ribbons,
and Canes. Students of all abilities can enjoy our Urban
Dance moves combining Street & Hip Hop, ‘popping
& locking’ to current dance tracks and their all time
favourites. Classes are for ages 4-11, divided into two
groups for age appropriate choreography and all taught
by a qualified dance teacher.
The lessons are a mixture of energising ‘feel good’
routines combined with more challenging choreography.
We always pride ourselves on being up-to-date with
the latest chart tracks, new trends and influences from
television, cinema and theatre.

What happens at a Popstar Party? What makes it so special?

Popstar Parties combine the enjoyment of learning
easy to follow dance routines with all the fun of our
Dance Props such as Dance Ribbons, Pom Poms, Glitter
Microphones, Hats and Blow Up Guitars. Mixed with
Popstar Games, Disco Games, Bubble Machine and prizes.
We teach fun choreographed dance routines taught by
an enthusiastic and qualified Dance Instructor using an
array of Dance Props mixed with Popstar games. We do
ensure the party is very special to your child.

What themed parties do you have to offer?

We offer a variety of parties – Street Dance, Popstar Party,
Mamma Mia - ABBA, Hannah Montana, High School
Musical and Grease ‘themed’ or a combination to suit you.

What age groups are your parties aimed at?

Parties are tailored for ages 6-12 and of all abilities.

Is party food provided?

No we do not supply party food,
after the first hour we break for the
snack and birthday cake, which
would be provided by the customer
and we turn the music down
low but enough to keep a lovely
atmosphere.

Do you provide a birthday cake?

No, again this would be provided by the customer.

Do you offer party bags or do we bring our own along?

We do offer party bags at an additional charge, and they
are available on a sale or return basis. There are many
quality gifts, all items can be viewed and ordered via our
website.

How many children can attend?

We have a maximum number of 25 children per party, but
we recommend inviting 20 children or less as this enables
us to give lots of attention to your birthday child and all
the friends.

How long do the parties last?

Our parties are for 2 hours, party times at weekends are
11 am – 1 pm, 3 pm – 5 pm or an after school slot from 5
pm – 7 pm.

How much does it cost?

The cost of the 2 hour party is £160, this includes our
printed party invitations.
