You’d be barking to miss the world premier of epic comedy adventure Striker from Liverpool born Neil Walden.
The Awkward Stage Theatre Company presents the hilarious children’s tale at The Actors’ Studio, Liverpool in April as part of Liverpool’s Write Now Festival.
Suitable for all the family and jam packed with monstrous amounts of fun, Striker follows the adventure of Isabel as she searches for a legendary black dog of giant proportions who possibly ate the leg of old sea dog, Captain Astrid, who is herself looking to settle an old score.
The epic journey of discovery will take you across Liverpool, initially by rail and then by sea, in search of the terrible truth behind the legendary, fiendishly foul canine. Exhilarating from start to finish!
An exciting way to keep children entertained over the Easter holidays, the imaginative and charming Striker, directed by Matthew Bowden and starring Kate Benfield, Kate Malpass and Bradley Thompson opens on Saturday 16th April at 2.30pm.
With performances on Sunday 17th April, 2.30pm, Wednesday 20th April, 4pm and Saturday 23rd April at 1pm.
